Mine Digital delivers accomodation brokerage system for Fife Council

March 18, 2007 03:08

Fife Council has approached Mine Digital to design and develop an ‘Accommodation Brokerage System’ for the Fife Rights Forum, which is an umbrella body for Fife’s advice and rights agency. The main objective of the system is to provide details of both vacant and exchange accommodation for the range of client agencies registered with the group.

The Accommodation Brokerage System has two key services. The first is a sophisticated administration portal, which stores and manages all contact information of member bodies. A super administrator within Fife Rights Forum, manages the system and provides access to all 27 individual client agencies. Agencies can then both access and upload housing stock details and information. Client agencies such as Women’s Aid and Gingerbread can also run complex reports enabling them to analyse the service effectively.

The second part of the system is the brokerage area itself, which enables client agencies to search and make accommodation requests for their own clients.

It is anticipated that the system will significantly improve the effectiveness of the housing brokerage service provided by Fife rights Forum by significantly reducing time and resources required in the search for accommodation and also by maximising the limited accommodation space within Fife.

Mine Digital is a leading digital solutions company and has been providing services to both global and national clients such as Toyota and Thames Water since 1999.
